GelAromas:
Concentrated
gel-safe fragrances specially formulated for gel candles!
These
are all non-polar oils with high flash points of at least 170. They
are clear oils with as little color as possible, and will not cloud in
our gel. They have all been tested in Penreco gel using their specifications
for safe fragrance load. Three sizes available in 9 great new scents!

Note:
Our Stearic Acid is now coming in a finer granule form instead of flakes.
It is still the same triple pressed vegetable stearic we always carry,
the manufacturer just changed how they make it.

We
are happy to announce we are now back to shipping orders out same or next
day due to the hard work of our day & night crews and dedicated office
staff! We would like to thank each one of our staff members in pouring
& packaging, warehouse, office, order packing & our management
team for making this happen!
TIP
OF THE MONTH:
Q ~ How can I figure out how much
wax I will need to make the number of candles I want to make?
A ~ It's just a little math
:) Each pound of wax will make about 20 ounces of liquid wax once
it's melted. You will need to know how many ounces of liquid your
containers (jars or molds) hold. Say you're making 8 oz. jar candles,
and you want to make 15 of them. 15 x 8 = 120 ounces of liquid you
will need. Divide that 120 by 20 (which is a pound of wax) and you
get 6. Therefore, you will need about 6 pounds of wax to make fifteen
of your eight ounce jar candles. Always figure a little high just
in case, it's easier to have some left over than to have to melt more and
try to match the same color again! Use the leftover for tarts or
firestarters :) |
