| Tips for use:
Please remember, these are only guidelines and individual results may vary. Experimentation and testing is always the best way to determine and develop the best methods for your application. |
Clean molds
prior to use. Spray with mold
release if needed.
Heat wax to approx. 185°F. Add dye & stir until dissolved. Add fragrance, stir well, then pour. Fill molds to the rim. Candles will shrink, so save enough wax for the 2nd pour. As the wax is cooling and begins to form a solid layer on top, poke several small relief holes around the wick using a skewer about 3/4 deep into the candle. This will allow any trapped air bubbles to escape before the wax completely sets up. Allow candles to cool & solidify almost completely, then do the re-pour/top off with the leftover wax. Be careful to repour only up to the original fill line so that no layers will show and no wax will drip down the sides of the pillar and ruin the finish! Using a cold water bath will speed the cooling process and will produce an extra shiny finish. Remove candles from molds, trim excess wick, and level bottoms if necessary. ~ For translucent chunk
