testing is always the best way to
determine and develop the best
methods for your application.

We recommend trying the following method:

~ Do not heat wax over 200°F. Vegetable waxes are subject
to thermal degradation and yellowing.
~ We recommend using liquid or powder dye with this wax. Other dyes
may inhibit the crystalline appearance.
~ Add 2 - 5% fragrance by weight.
~ Pour between 140 -160°F into containers pre-heated to 140°F.
~ In containers that curve at the top, we find it best to fill only up to the point where it begins to curve, but not into the curve.
~ This wax generally requires a larger size wick than average. We recommend trying RRD, HTP, Performa, or CD wicks with this wax. You may need to double wick large diameter jars for the best burn pool. Test burning will be necessary for proper wick selection.
~ To make sure there are no air pockets in the candles, poke a hole into the top surface. As the candle solidifies, repour at 20°F hotter than the first pour, or re-heat the top surface for a smooth finish.
